Sameer Nawaz

Case Manager

Sameer is a first-year medical student at New York Medical College. Originally from Connecticut, he completed his undergraduate degree in Biology and Health Policy in Boston. He previously worked at Integrated Refugee & Immigrant Services (IRIS) in New Haven, Connecticut, where he tutored children in the after-school program. The intersection of medicine and advocacy is a central part of his mission at NYMCCHR. In his free time, Sameer enjoys exploring new cities, trying foods from different cultures, playing video games, and being a part of a passionate team.
