Princy Shah

Events & Advocacy

Princy is a third-year medical student at NYMC. She grew up in New Jersey and went to The College of New Jersey for undergrad. Some of her extracurricular work in undergrad involved advocacy and fundraising for survivors of domestic violence in immigrant communities. These experiences drew her to volunteer with CHR and learn more about the challenges faced by those who seek asylum in the United States. As a part of the events and advocacy team, she hopes to help facilitate events that will help NYMC students learn more about the field of asylum medicine.
