Krishna is an M3 at New York Medical College and currently serves as one of the Recruitment Committee Chairs for CHR. Born in Queens and raised in Westchester, he completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Michigan in 2020. Before starting medical school in 2023, Krishna worked as a clinical assistant in a medically underserved area of the Bronx. This experience inspired his commitment to advancing equitable access to care and advocating for human rights. A son of immigrants, he feels both a professional and personal responsibility to improve the visibility and treatment of those seeking a new life away from their place of origin. He believes asylum seekers stand to benefit significantly from the work of organizations such as CHR, and he hopes to make a meaningful impact in their lives by contributing to the organization’s mission.

In his free time, Krishna enjoys exploring new restaurants, playing tennis, watching college football, and listening to The Weeknd.
