Hello, my name is Inna. I grew up and lived in Manila, Philippines until my family moved to Rockville, Maryland in 2003. I am a proud alumni of the University of Virginia. Go Hoos! I have always enjoyed working with refugee and immigrant populations even before medical school, so I joined CHR as soon as I heard about the organization. My family's journey as an immigrant in the U.S. is my inspiration for using my skills and resources to help others who are going through the endeavor of leaving their home countries in search for better life opportunities
